Woodcraft Kids parties are perfect for young builders ages 3 to 15! ( Heads-up: kiddos 4 and under will need a grown-up helper by their side.)
Our events usually run 3–4 hours in total. We’ll arrive about an hour before the party starts to get everything set up, then lead a 2-hour woodworking adventure, and finish with a quick clean-up so you don’t have to lift a finger.
When the party kicks off, our instructor will introduce the tools and show everyone how to use them safely (don’t worry, it’s all kid-friendly and grown-up approved!). From there, we’ll guide your crew step-by-step through building an awesome take-home project.
Most new woodcrafters start with our classic spin-top build, a fan favorite! But we’ve got other cool projects to choose from too. Once you send in your party request, we’ll email you to chat through all the fun details.
Where’s the Party? You Pick!
Woodcraft Kids brings the fun all across the Bay Area! Whether it’s your backyard, garage, or the local park down the street—we’re happy to set up wherever the celebration takes us.
Do you plan on hosting at a public spot like a park or picnic area? If so, just be sure to snag any necessary reservations ahead of time so we’re all set to build and play. If you need a hand in making reservations at your local park, we're happy to help!
Party Pricing Made Simple!
You've got 5 young builders or less? Your party is just $300 flat. Tools, materials, and all the sawdusty fun included!
You've got a bigger crew? No problem! It’s still $300 for the first 5 kids, then just $50 per extra mini maker after that. The more, the merrier (and the louder the hammering)!
Ready to build some cool things and great memories?
To make sure everything runs smoothly, we ask that event requests come in at least 10 days in advance and that a $100 deposit is paid to reserve your date. When you reach out, don’t forget to include:
🎉 What kind of event you’re hosting (birthday? workshop? just-for-fun day?)
📍 Where it’ll be held
👦👧 How many little builders you’re expecting
📅 Your preferred date and time
If your crew includes kids 3 or 4 years old, a helpful adult buddy is required—but trust us, grown-ups love getting in on the action too! Kids 5 and up can handle the tools on their own (with our guidance, of course).
We also ask that the host have emergency contact info for all attendees on hand, and that they stick around during the entire party. You’re part of the team, and we’re glad to have you!
