Meet Joe, Founder & Head Woodshop Instructor

Hi! I'm Joe — the guy with the a bunch of wood, a hammer, and way too many project ideas. I grew up right here in San Carlos, watching my mom find serenity in building things with her hands. Ever since then, I've been aware of the deep healing effect of woodworking, and the magic of turning a pile of wood into something awesome.

I started teaching kids woodworking back in 2021 with my friend Nicholas of Woodworkers Academy. I’ve been surrounded by little woodworkers with big smiles and even bigger imaginations ever since. When I’m not leading the junior carpenter crew at Woodcraft Kids, you’ll probably find me outside hiking to the nearest swimming hole, playing music with my friends, or trying to master some new Jiu-jitsu moves at the gym
